The supporters of Tierra del Fuego FC booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balazs Lajos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. In the 20th minute Tierra del Fuego FC were awarded a corner. Ambrosio Playo went to the cornerflag to take it. Tierra del Fuego FC's Ambrosio Playo was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Fodor Daniel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fodor Daniel was completely defenseless when Ambrosio Playo shot a long shot which deflected off the right pole and into the goal in the game's 21st minute, 1-1. Natalio Heli didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Baumer in the 29th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Tierra del Fuego FC's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Natalio Heli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 40th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense. Tierra del Fuego FC's Ambrosio Playo shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 42nd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Fodor Daniel but with some difficulty. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. After the first half Hungary were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ismael Baumer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Szekeres Tamas's late challenge caught a Tierra del Fuego FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Szekeres Tamas helped the player get up and apologised. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 61st minute. Tierra del Fuego FC's Natalio Heli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Tierra del Fuego FC from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Espiridion came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tierra del Fuego FC made a substitution. Saturnino Batista replaced Orlando Dabi.
