Rene James charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rene James the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Samuel Esiquio to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Esiquio in the 55th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Ignacio Eleder didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuel Esiquio's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. The ⭐️ Never Walk Alone ⭐️ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Denmark were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
