In the 19th minute, Porziano Marchitelli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lev Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 21 minutes into the match, Glintung FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Lev Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Bandit Idaman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Bandit Idaman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Italy booed when Glintung FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malam Senin didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Lev Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Curto went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Italy defense, Parlin Souisa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Flavio Vittori. The Italy fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Flavio Vittori should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
