Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Steven Chaptal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antal Valentin in the 7th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Fodor Daniel made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Rick Souness sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Steven Chaptal in the 23rd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elderslie Magpies were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Hungary fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Hungary's Balazs Lajos looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Takacs Tibor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Hungary's Hegedus Henrik sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aden Couzens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Elderslie Magpies's Ralph Gorham got a free kick in the 45th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antal Valentin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Elderslie Magpies getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Sam Mccartan hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ralph Gorham during the 57th minute. In the 61st minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aden Couzens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aden Couzens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 67th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Hungary's Balazs Lajos dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. 75 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Aden Couzens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Aden Couzens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Katona Janos, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. After 83 played minutes Elderslie Magpies got a freekick which was hit by Steven Chaptal. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Aden Couzens made a huge save. Bakos Endre hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aden Couzens having to interfere. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
