Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eckehard Deckert got the match started through his kick off. In the 7th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tommy Kahn acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 8th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Nico Gudd. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. A collision led to Odeweg FSV getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Fredy Brusberg hit a great ball. When Janik Vogt fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Janik Vogt a yellow card for diving instead. Odeweg FSV's Marco Bressem was substituted for Gerald Kröger. The supporters of Odeweg FSV booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herminio Iztal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 22nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eckehard Deckert got free with Tommy Kahn in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iztal having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Odeweg FSV's Conrad Furesi got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iztal having to interfere. Tommy Kahn stood somewhat misplaced when Eckehard Deckert came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 33 minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Odeweg FSV:s Herminio Iztal showed great skill when he stopped Frank Sachs:s penalty. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eckehard Deckert in the 47th minute. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Eckehard Deckert sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Frank Sachs made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Odeweg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Conrad Furesi to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Eckehard Deckert kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nico Gudd in the 63rd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Odeweg FSV's Conrad Furesi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Marco Bressem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eckehard Deckert in the 70th minute of play. Herminio Iztal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with Herminio Iztal in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Germany's Frank Sachs slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herminio Iztal. That made the score 4-1 after 75 minutes of play. In the 80th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-2. Germany were awarded a corner in the 84th minute after Odeweg FSV's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Frank Sachs took the corner. Germany's Frank Sachs was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Herminio Iztal in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 88 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eckehard Deckert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 88 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eckehard Deckert in the 96th minute of the match.
