The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 5 minutes into the match, Lavindsgaarde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but Anders Havreland reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 14th minute of play forced Lavindsgaarde FC's goalkeeper Anders Havreland to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 15th minute after Lavindsgaarde FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Antal Valentin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anders Havreland having to make a save. Anders Havreland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Antal Valentin scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Anders Havreland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 26th minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Anders Havreland took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Lavindsgaarde FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Katona Janos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Anders Havreland quite easily take care of the ball. In the 38th minute, Bertel Olson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anders Havreland made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 39th minute of play. After 40 minutes Lavindsgaarde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. In the 41st minute, Hegedus Henrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anders Havreland was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2.

In the 53rd minute, Major Barna got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Panling in the 58th minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Anders Havreland didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Major Barna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anders Havreland having to interfere. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Anders Havreland tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anders Havreland made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. In the 71st minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Lavindsgaarde FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. The referee gave Hungary a penalty, 73 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Antal Valentin, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lavindsgaarde FC's Anders Havreland. 0-3. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Anders Havreland in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 80 minutes Lavindsgaarde FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match.
