In the 2nd minute, Odeweg FSV's Conrad Furesi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Frank Sachs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Iztal having to interfere. Herminio Iztal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 13th minute of play. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Eckehard Deckert got free with Tommy Kahn in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 21st minute of play forced Odeweg FSV's goalkeeper Herminio Iztal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 25th minute of the match Odeweg FSV got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nico Gudd ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Nico Gudd notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With splendid footwork Conrad Furesi arrived in front of goal to shoot 5-0 by the left pole in the game's 40th minute. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Odeweg FSV got a freekick which was hit by Walter Klingemann. Frank Sachs was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 52nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 53rd match minute, Odeweg FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fredy Brusberg to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 56th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conrad Furesi in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Eckehard Deckert came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Germany booed when Odeweg FSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eckehard Deckert didn't get a good kick on the ball. A very good chance for a goal. Herminio Iztal made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 92 minutes, Edward Kalnik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Odeweg FSV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edward Kalnik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Odeweg FSV's Nico Gudd got a free kick in the 95th minute. Odeweg FSV were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Germany for a fine match.
