After a rather tough play, Green Horses's Marcelo Txindoki got a free kick in the 40th minute. Bjarne Kirkegaard hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Despite this Keld Paulsen quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Babbis Tolias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keld Paulsen having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Notis Bartzokas in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Keld Paulsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dimitris Kolofotias kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Denmark's zone, Babbis Tolias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keld Paulsen came out of the goal and Babbis Tolias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lars Steen charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lars Steen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lars Steen kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Iason Dimitratos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Green Horses throughout the match.
