The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mateusz Matusiak stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 68 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Pimentel. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mateusz Matusiak in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. In the 72nd minute Mateusz Matusiak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, 1461 Trabzon's goal looked a bit too open when Bartolomeu Dias came free, but Ender Tanacan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bartolomeu Dias got free with Ender Tanacan in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mateusz Matusiak scored 4-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Wilson Amorim, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 1461 Trabzon's Ender Tanacan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Pimentel in the 87th minute of play. Ender Tanacan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Felipinho Amorim went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Atilla Ceberut's late challenge caught a Portugal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atilla Ceberut helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to 1461 Trabzon getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Atilla Ceberut hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. 1461 Trabzon had won after a very even match.
