Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sydney Pena played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Vettori in the 3rd minute of play. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Sylwester Zworski got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Radowit Ptaszek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jerzy Grocholski, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaw Nienajadlo in the 10th minute of play forced Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goalkeeper Sydney Pena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radowit Ptaszek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zdzislaw Marczyniec in the 11th minute of play. Sylwester Zworski was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The crowd rose to their feet as Cesate's Gustaw Nienajadlo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sydney Pena. That made the score 1-0 after 25 minutes of play. Zdzislaw Marczyniec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Radowit Ptaszek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sydney Pena was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Kay Stormlund capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kay Stormlund really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Sydney Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

In the 50th minute, Jerzy Grocholski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Pena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Nienajadlo in the 56th minute of the match. In the 59th minute Cuiavia Bydgoszcz were awarded a corner. Jerzy Grocholski went to the cornerflag to take it. Sydney Pena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Ferraris in the 62nd minute of play. Sydney Pena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kay Stormlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 65 minutes into the match, Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Ferraris came free, but Sydney Pena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sydney Pena didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kay Stormlund went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Attilio Mazzone's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Pena read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 86th minute of play. Donato Palladino hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Cuiavia Bydgoszcz's Zenon Lampe was substituted for Jerzy Grocholski. Sydney Pena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Ferraris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesate walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
