The supporters of Nueva Chicago booed when Erzincan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bora Ulusu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Marcial Ziguenza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alparslan Utkan. Erzincan FK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcial Ziguenza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Erzincan FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eser Poyraz in the 13th minute. The corner ended in Eser Poyraz almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares did a great save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xalvador Pendones in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alparslan Utkan saved Erzincan FK from getting behind. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Xalvador Pendones sped through Erzincan FK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Alparslan Utkan. Diego Lugano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alparslan Utkan having to interfere. When Nueva Chicago's Xalvador Pendones in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erzincan FK's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Lugano in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alparslan Utkan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Nueva Chicago's Diego Lugano in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Erzincan FK's goalie prevented a goal. Bora Ulusu struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Santiago Cañizares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Erzincan FK. Marcial Ziguenza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alparslan Utkan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute Nueva Chicago were awarded a corner. Joga Leve went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Erzincan FK's goalie and right to Marcial Ziguenza. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Erzincan FK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 40 minutes into the game, Nueva Chicago's Xalvador Pendones nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alparslan Utkan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Santiago Cañizares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Saadettin Horasanlı in the 45th minute. Lou Deans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Xalvador Pendones made a kick off. Patrik Konsel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Alparslan Utkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, Nueva Chicago's goal looked a bit too open when Eser Poyraz came free, but Santiago Cañizares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 60 minutes into the game, Xalvador Pendones recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alparslan Utkan. Xalvador Pendones showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. 64 minutes into the match, Erzincan FK's goal looked a bit too open when Lou Deans came free, but Alparslan Utkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Nueva Chicago's Lou Deans fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. Xalvador Pendones scored 0-5 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alparslan Utkan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute, Lou Deans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alparslan Utkan. The goal made the score 0-6. When Xalvador Pendones came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Nueva Chicago fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xalvador Pendones couldn't finish the play. In the 80th minute Xalvador Pendones shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alparslan Utkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcial Ziguenza did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-7 to the left of a surprised Alparslan Utkan 82 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Nueva Chicago's Diego Lugano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Alparslan Utkan. Alparslan Utkan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. With a little luck, Erzincan FK's Alparslan Utkan got control of the ball when Xalvador Pendones tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saadettin Horasanlı in the 92nd minute of play forced Nueva Chicago's goalkeeper Santiago Cañizares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alparslan Utkan was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Xalvador Pendones showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-9 in the 94 minute of play. Nueva Chicago's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
