In the 12th minute, Tytus Jeziorkowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Marcial Ziguenza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Modesto Font tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Modesto Font made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Joga Leve sent off a good shot on target. If Zbyszko Wysocki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Modesto Font showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Ziguenza in the 20th minute of the match. In the 26thth minute of the game Tytus Jeziorkowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nueva Chicago's Santiago Cañizares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Modesto Font was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Xalvador Pendones capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Xalvador Pendones really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Nueva Chicago's Diego Lugano got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 34th match minute, ↖ Sagittarius ↗ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Trela to maneuver through the defense. Tytus Jeziorkowski who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Santiago Cañizares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Zbyszko Wysocki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santiago Cañizares having to interfere. Modesto Font made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lugano in the 61st minute of play. Modesto Font showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lou Deans, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Diego Lugano notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of ↖ Sagittarius ↗'s Modesto Font. Modesto Font was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santiago Cañizares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tytus Jeziorkowski in the 93rd minute. After 97 minutes of play, Nueva Chicago's Diego Lugano made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Modesto Font was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Nueva Chicago had won after a very even match.
