Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Avesta's Sabin Albu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gustaw Nienajadlo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jens-Ola Eklund having to interfere. In the 6th minute Kay Stormlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Ferraris in the 8th minute of play forced Avesta's goalkeeper Jens-Ola Eklund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Avesta's Gelu Băcila got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Vettori in the 12th minute of play. Angelo Ferraris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Avesta's Radomil Kolacki got a free kick in the 17th minute. Jens-Ola Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaw Nienajadlo in the 20th minute of the match. Manolis Peridis was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Sabin Albu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabin Albu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 26th minute Kay Stormlund shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Kay Stormlund had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jens-Ola Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kay Stormlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Avesta's Jens-Ola Eklund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kay Stormlund in the 35th minute of play. Jens-Ola Eklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kay Stormlund in the 40th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Angelo Vettori got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Radomil Kolacki kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. Angelo Ferraris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Jens-Ola Eklund tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Jens-Ola Eklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Vettori, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Kay Stormlunds short, quick shot in the 56thth minute got Jens-Ola Eklund to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kay Stormlund sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kay Stormlund could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Jens-Ola Eklund made a huge save. A hard shot 61 in the game by Kay Stormlund from a close distance when the talented Jens-Ola Eklund managed to make a qualified save. Avesta's players were relieved. Angelo Ferraris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kay Stormlund in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens-Ola Eklund prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Cesate's Kay Stormlund, in the 69th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Cesate. Cesate's Kay Stormlund got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute Angelo Vettori shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jens-Ola Eklund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jens-Ola Eklund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kay Stormlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 89 minutes, Kay Stormlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cesate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kay Stormlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Avesta booed when Cesate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tobiasz Jucha didn't get a good kick on the ball.
