When Oliver Holub, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 42 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Bernardo Munhoz was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Bernardo Munhoz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metod Mlynar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Metod Mlynar stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bernardo Munhoz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 55th minute. If Luís Fabiano Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. Agro Imortal's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Ondrej Biskup scored to the left of an out of position Bernardo Munhoz, making the score, 0-4. In the 90th match minute, Agro Imortal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Fabiano Aparecido to maneuver through the defense. When Pavol Koleno fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Slovakia's protests and gave Pavol Koleno a yellow card for diving instead. When the match was over Slovakia could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Agro Imortal throughout the match.
