Victoriano Bertin's late challenge caught a Italy's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victoriano Bertin helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Dynamo Blitz's Victoriano Bertin got a free kick in the 4th minute. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Lauaxeta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Azghar Sarosh made a throw-in in the 16th minute of the game. When Porziano Marchitelli came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Porziano Marchitelli couldn't finish the play. 22 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Elbert Smeekes came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 25th minute of play. After 33 minutes Dynamo Blitz's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Italy's Zaccheo Andolina getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Porziano Marchitelli. But to his dismay, Porziano Marchitelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 39 played minutes Italy got a freekick which was hit by Zena Busacca. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Marinus Westerink sent off a good shot on target. In the 44th minute Luciano Lauaxeta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dynamo Blitz's Tjeerd Zwaanswijk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Siricio Liotta in the 46th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luciano Lauaxeta to strike the kick off in the second half. A sloppy throw-in by Delmiro Janpier in the 51st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 57th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Dynamo Blitz's zone, Zaccheo Andolina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk came out of the goal and Zaccheo Andolina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marinus Westerink in the 60th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Delmiro Janpier in the 63rd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Italy's Siricio Liotta. 64 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjeerd Zwaanswijk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 74th minute of play forced Dynamo Blitz's goalkeeper Tjeerd Zwaanswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 77th minute of play. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 79th minute. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tjeerd Zwaanswijk read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After 81 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk was left in no man's land by his defense there! Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Adriano Curto took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tjeerd Zwaanswijk. Tjeerd Zwaanswijk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Adriano Curto was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The Dynamo Blitz fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
