After 21 played minutes, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Justin Abril came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Belgium reached it. Amund Villarreal in the 23rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Casper Claes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Edward Vanderstraeten might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Justin Abril. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edward Vanderstraeten ran back to his position shaking his head. 33 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Amund Villarreal. In the 35th match minute, Spartak de Txurdi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olo Hajs to maneuver through the defense. Edward Vanderstraeten took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Justin Abril. Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 39thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartak de Txurdi's Justin Abril was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Edward Vanderstraeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. When Dawang Monfort fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Spartak de Txurdi's protests and gave Dawang Monfort a yellow card for diving instead. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Justin Abril read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 62 played minutes Belgium got a freekick which was hit by Floris Claeys. Justin Abril showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 65thth minute of the game Edward Vanderstraeten who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Spartak de Txurdi's Justin Abril was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Lenny Clocheret left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 87th minute Spartak de Txurdi were awarded a corner. Lucas Vazquez went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Amund Villarreal got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Casper Claes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After a rather tough play, Belgium's Laurens Vandamme got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 94th minute, Amund Villarreal made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Many of Belgium's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Belgium may have spent more time on the ball, but Spartak de Txurdi were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
