Albin Holweck blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tony Chaves having to make a save. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Caetano Félix got a free kick in the 5th minute. Flavinho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Krakouer during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 18th minute, Sven Krakouer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Clayton Sergi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 21 minutes into the game, Flavinho Meirelles lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Tommy Kahn. In the 25th minute, SE Palestra Itália's Flavinho Meirelles dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavinho Meirelles in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Flavinho Meirelles received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Flavinho Meirelles slotted it home off the left post making it 5-0 in the 37th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Flavinho Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SE Palestra Itália's Cesinha Vale got a free kick in the 50th minute. In the 56th match minute, SE Palestra Itália was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavinho Meirelles to maneuver through the defense. SE Palestra Itália's Eriberto Scherer was substituted for Gugu Schmidt. After 59 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Frank Sachs. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Clayton Sergi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Acar Buğrahan in the 79th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clayton Sergi in the 83rd minute of play. In the 85th minute SE Palestra Itália were awarded a corner. Adalberto Custódio went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Adalberto Custódio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tommy Kahn quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 92 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SE Palestra Itália the free kick. Albin Holweck hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 94 minutes, Alfredão Corrêa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SE Palestra Itália and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. For all the effort they put into the match, the Germany players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for SE Palestra Itália.
