Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cao Zhen made the kick off which started today's match. In the 3rd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Engström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. After 7 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edward Engström was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 12th minute, Arne Bronco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Joxa mé trasan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Edward Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 19 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Joxa mé trasan's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edward Engström came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 33 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Edward Engström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arnout Reekers was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Arne Bronco showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 43 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Edward Engström in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Edward Engström firmly grabbed it by the left post. 60 minutes into the match, Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Edward Engström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Edward Engström was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Gustaaf Groeneveldt capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gustaaf Groeneveldt really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wim Wilmes 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. Cao Zhen hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Joxa mé trasan's Fred Flinta was substituted for Arne Bronco. Joxa mé trasan's Edward Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Joxa mé trasan from getting a goal against them. Edward Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-6. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 84th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Edward Engström could save by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 86th minute of play forced Joxa mé trasan's goalkeeper Edward Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute, Wim Wilmes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Edward Engström. The goal made the score 2-7. In the 94th minute, Fred Flinta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
