Lex Academy's Tomáš Houdek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 28th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Lex Academy's Paco Arzola got a free kick in the 38th minute. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leo Štengl, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bernardo Novaes to strike the kick off in the second half. Roman Jursa kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Lex Academy getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Siricio Liotta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomáš Houdek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
