After 24 minutes Thunderstorm Riders's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. Gianpaolo Mascari was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Damazy Kensicki didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zaccheo Andolina went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 34th minute Kudret Tüzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damazy Kensicki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Damazy Kensicki made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 40th minute of play. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damazy Kensicki having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. With a little luck, Thunderstorm Riders's Damazy Kensicki got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damazy Kensicki made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thunderstorm Riders made a substitution. Daniel Houseman replaced Kudret Tüzer. In the 68th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Thunderstorm Riders's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Sigfrido Auletta ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Damazy Kensicki quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 72 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Konrad Resel came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Koti Kot in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes in the game Martin Tudoran did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Koti Kot. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damazy Kensicki breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Damazy Kensicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Damazy Kensicki was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Siricio Liotta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Siricio Liotta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Houseman in the 93rd minute of play. Flavio Vittori came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Thunderstorm Riders's Daniel Houseman. But to his dismay, Daniel Houseman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Italy had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
