Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked off to start the match. In the 3rd match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gust Ennemans to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Wara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Rojas didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelnasser Mohand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 23rd minute of play forced Wara's goalkeeper Abdelnasser Mohand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wara's Abdelnasser Mohand. Abdelnasser Mohand was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the match, Larkins Potter dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arnout Reekers, 1-1. Wara's Abdelnasser Mohand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 33rd minute of play. Einar Vestberg's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Einar Vestberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 34th match minute, Wara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Einar Vestberg to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Larkins Potter in the 36th minute of play. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Wara players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Larkins Potter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Wara got a freekick which was hit by Martin Buch. In the 59th minute Larkins Potter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Wara's Abdelnasser Mohand got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 61st minute. 65 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Larkins Potter came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abdelnasser Mohand was out of position in the 68 minute of play, and Wim Wilmes capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Wim Wilmes really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. In the 74thth minute of the game Gijsbert ter Kruimer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wara's Abdelnasser Mohand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelnasser Mohand, 1-4. 84 minutes into the match, Wara's goalkeeper Abdelnasser Mohand had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Gust Ennemans hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Larkins Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
