Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gerjan de Visser took the kick off in the first half of the match. Taco Joppets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Taco Joppets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 5th minute. Taco Joppets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wim Wilmes in the 10th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Taco Joppets prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 17th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to work through FFC Merainies 03's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Gijsbert ter Kruimer dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Taco Joppets read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt succeeded in the game's 39th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Netherlands's Arnout Reekers got control of the ball when Gerjan de Visser tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, FFC Merainies 03's goalkeeper Taco Joppets had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. 52 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FFC Merainies 03's Taco Joppets. Taco Joppets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer took a quick shot and it went in 0-5 without a chance for Taco Joppets to make any attempt to save it. Wim Wilmes took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taco Joppets. Taco Joppets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. 63 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Taco Joppets, 0-7. Gustaaf Groeneveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes FFC Merainies 03 got a freekick which was hit by Timo Korfs. Henk Waard kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Lars Meesters took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Taco Joppets. Taco Joppets dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-9. Taco Joppets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 85th minute, FFC Merainies 03's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Wim Wilmes fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Taco Joppets made a huge save. With a little luck, FFC Merainies 03's Taco Joppets got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Timo Korfs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FFC Merainies 03's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Taco Joppets saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 96 minutes, Taco Joppets successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
