Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. 16 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's Waldo Bean broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cosmos Soccer Club's Dan Gheară played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 18th minute of play. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ivan Ţopescu's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Dan Gheară showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 32nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 34th minute of play forced Cosmos Soccer Club's goalkeeper Dan Gheară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Cosmos Soccer Club's Ivan Ţopescu in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, France's Maxime Durand got control of the ball when Ivan Ţopescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexis Bruneau's late challenge caught a Cosmos Soccer Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card.
