Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) After 3 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Holub. In the 7th minute, Metod Mlynar left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slovakia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Henrich Slany showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Júnior Hoffmann, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. 15 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Veloso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Oswaldo Veloso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henrich Slany having to make a save. In the 23rd match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Toscano to maneuver through the defense. Metod Mlynar struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Dito Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Slovakia. Zigmund Maliar hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th match minute, Jaru-Uaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matías de Salles to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 37th minute of play forced Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dito Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vavrinec Koleno during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Slovakia booed when Jaru-Uaru was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edmundo Toscano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Metod Mlynar made the kick off in the second half. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dito Braga didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Metod Mlynar went, in the 58th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. 62 minutes into the game, Matías de Salles was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaru-Uaru's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Slovakia the free kick. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Dito Braga made a huge save. Dito Braga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Metod Mlynar in the 66th minute. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 78 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goal looked a bit too open when Oswaldo Veloso came free, but Henrich Slany reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Matías de Salles in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Slovakia's Vít Biskup. 83 minutes into the match, Jaru-Uaru's goalkeeper Dito Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Metod Mlynar. Slovakia's Oliver Holub got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
