If 吕森辉 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 杜思枫 kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 方亦军 in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 方亦军 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Dostal kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 邵思剑.
