Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Grozuță in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Vătafu. Hannes Albäck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Cristian Grozuță sent off a good shot on target. Hannes Albäck stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. In the 43rd minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hannes Albäck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hannes Albäck read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Lechințan in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Grozuță came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A nice corner shot did that Sigfrido Auletta got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Hannes Albäck quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexandru Boșneag in the 54th minute of play. Sostene Vitulli kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Bălășoiu in the 85th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Adriano Curto reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hannes Albäck. The goal made the score 0-4. In the 90th minute Cristian Grozuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Bayern Cavnic ⚽ MM ⚽ fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
