In the 22ndth minute of the game Major Barna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mayo's Alexander Bird was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Guido Pagomari tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fodor Daniel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Samuel Farmer showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-2 in the 46 minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Des Gill in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vörös Henrik's late challenge caught a Mayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vörös Henrik helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Vörös Henrik got a free kick in the 95th minute. Evelio Goren took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 96th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fodor Daniel. Hungary's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
