Frank Sachs, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raşit Sırat in the 31st minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when NiğdeBeşiktaş was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mümin Oncel didn't get a good kick on the ball. NiğdeBeşiktaş's Mümin Oncel got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 42nd minute of play forced NiğdeBeşiktaş's goalkeeper Seçkin Kanber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raşit Sırat was the one to do the kick off. Germany's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Sachs was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Raşit Sırat took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. In the 72nd minute, Raşit Sırat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The NiğdeBeşiktaş fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Raşit Sırat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Raşit Sırat made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Seçkin Kanber made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. Resul Erentürk made in the 91st minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Raşit Sırat however managed to control. Albin Holweck received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Seçkin Kanber came out and tried to block the shot, but Albin Holweck slotted it home off the left post making it 5-1 in the 92nd minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 96th minute. NiğdeBeşiktaş's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
