The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Temida Sf was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinko Ormandzhiev to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Gijsbert ter Kruimer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ikonom Brúmbarov was relentless in the 4th minute of the game. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimitar Famparski in the 7th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikonom Brúmbarov having to interfere. Wim Wilmes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ikonom Brúmbarov having to make a save. Gu Di Chong kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Wim Wilmes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Netherlands fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ikonom Brúmbarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ikonom Brúmbarov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ikonom Brúmbarov having to interfere. Mario Kisev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. David Eikelkamp hit a great ball. In the 38th minute of the match Gu Di Chong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gu Di Chong kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Ikonom Brúmbarov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 47 minutes into the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov. Temida Sf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gijsbert ter Kruimer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The Temida Sf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Netherlands were winning 0-2.

Gu Di Chong hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. 56 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dimitar Famparski came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 62nd minute of play. Temida Sf's Ikonom Brúmbarov proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Temida Sf from getting a goal against them. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 67th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ikonom Brúmbarov could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Temida Sf's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ikonom Brúmbarov came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Temida Sf made a substitution. Volodya Torlashki replaced Mario Kisev. Temida Sf's Pavel Kenov was substituted for Dimitar Famparski. Gustaaf Groeneveldt might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ikonom Brúmbarov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Wim Wilmes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov. Temida Sf's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wim Wilmes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ikonom Brúmbarov came out and tried to block the shot, but Wim Wilmes slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Temida Sf's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Ikonom Brúmbarov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ikonom Brúmbarov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 90th minute. In the 91st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Temida Sf's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ikonom Brúmbarov quite easily take care of the ball. Wim Wilmes scored 0-5 in the 98th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ikonom Brúmbarov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
