Mathijn Doctor got a throw-in 6 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bob Marley in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. David Eikelkamp received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aquilino Roldanillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Pantera Azulgrana's Aquilino Roldanillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Roldanillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 21 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aquilino Roldanillo was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gust Ennemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gust Ennemans made in the 31st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by La Pantera Azulgrana's Niceto Burni. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aquilino Roldanillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Bob Marley got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Aquilino Roldanillo. La Pantera Azulgrana's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gustaaf Groeneveldt was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Aquilino Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of the match. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bas Tuitert didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 43rd minute. A hard shot by Mati Suárez from long distance, 44 minutes into the match, got Arnout Reekers's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Aquilino Roldanillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 51st minute of the match. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bob Marley in the 63rd minute of the match. Aquilino Roldanillo made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Nicolas Jaen tried in the 65th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Aquilino Roldanillo a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Wim Wilmes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aquilino Roldanillo. That made the score 1-4 in the 68 minute of play. If Bob Marley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aquilino Roldanillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. La Pantera Azulgrana's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. 74 minutes into the match, La Pantera Azulgrana's goalkeeper Aquilino Roldanillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gust Ennemans. Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aquilino Roldanillo could save by the left post. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romarinho Riquelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Wim Wilmes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Pantera Azulgrana's Aquilino Roldanillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save La Pantera Azulgrana from getting a goal against them. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romarinho Riquelme, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute Mati Suárez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Egbert Nijveldt's late challenge caught a La Pantera Azulgrana's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egbert Nijveldt helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of La Pantera Azulgrana booed when Netherlands was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egbert Nijveldt didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Mati Suárez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnout Reekers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The La Pantera Azulgrana fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Netherlands were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
