The MILANELLO BATORY fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Teobald Zatorski should have stopped the shot. Momir Gisic charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Momir Gisic the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 16th minute, Momir Gisic hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Teobald Zatorski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sreten Popovic, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Borjan Golubovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Momir Gisic made in the 28th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Rasko Nestorovski immediately put the ball in play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sreten Popovic in the 31st minute of play forced MILANELLO BATORY's goalkeeper Teobald Zatorski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 35 minutes into the match, MILANELLO BATORY's goal looked a bit too open when Borjan Golubovic came free, but Teobald Zatorski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MILANELLO BATORY's Teobald Zatorski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Drasko Rajkovic in the 43rd minute of play. Teobald Zatorski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sreten Popovic in the 45th minute of play. Sreten Popovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Teobald Zatorski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Serbia were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sreten Popovic was the one to do the kick off. Miljan Gavrilovic made in the 54th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sreten Popovic. Sreten Popovic came free with the goalkeeper in the 55th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Teobald Zatorski could save by the left post. Serbia's attentive Miljan Gavrilovic managed to snatch the ball when Dawid Kosel made a throw-in in the 63rd minute of the game. After having played for 65 minutes, Sreten Popovic managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Serbia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sreten Popovic was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. MILANELLO BATORY's Teobald Zatorski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save MILANELLO BATORY from getting a goal against them. 69 minutes into the match, MILANELLO BATORY's goalkeeper Teobald Zatorski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sreten Popovic. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sreten Popovic got free with Teobald Zatorski in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 73rd match minute, Serbia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zivko Cvetkovic to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dariusz Jaruzelski in the 80th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rasko Nestorovski made in the 92nd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Vladeta Jovic immediately put the ball in play. If Vladeta Jovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Serbia played a much better game than MILANELLO BATORY and deserved their victory. The MILANELLO BATORY players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
