Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Renato Portalupi got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Lauren. Omar Lauren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 7th minute Porziano Marchitelli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Omar Lauren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Italy's Flavio Vittori proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Italy from getting a goal against them. Eugenio Mena made in the 14th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Everardo Cordero immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 18 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Omar Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Sigfrido Auletta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Lauren quite easily take care of the ball. Omar Lauren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Omar Lauren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 34th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Lauren saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Renato Portalupi in the 38th minute of play. Italy's Zaccheo Andolina got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 47 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Omar Lauren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Italy's Gomberto Picozzi managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Eugenio Mena in the 51 minute of the game. Omar Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 55th minute of play. Omar Lauren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 58th minute Italy were awarded a corner. Sigfrido Auletta went to the cornerflag to take it. Omar Lauren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute of the match Natalio Martino sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori skillfully saved the ball. In the 66th minute, Isaias Erroman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Deportivo Balvanera made a substitution. François-Xavier Castello replaced Isaias Erroman. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Omar Lauren saved Deportivo Balvanera from getting behind. Zaccheo Andolina spun around in front of the goal 77 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Deportivo Balvanera's goal. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Omar Lauren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Zaccheo Andolina kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Omar Lauren. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Omar Lauren should have stopped the shot. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. In the 86th minute of the match Italy got a corner. Deportivo Balvanera's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Siricio Liotta ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Omar Lauren quite easily take care of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Adriano Curto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Adriano Curto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Lauren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Omar Lauren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Curto, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Deportivo Balvanera's Omar Lauren got control of the ball when Adriano Curto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Italy's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
