Tadeusz Rutkowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rutkowski having to interfere. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Tadeusz Rutkowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Tadeusz Rutkowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Ulryk Merski made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeusz Rutkowski having to interfere. A collision led to 2kC Poznań getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Karol Marut hit a great ball. Despite being the better team, Netherlands failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
