Emiliano Uchiha came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Emiliano Uchiha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Club Atlético Libertador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 51st minute, when Gijsbert ter Kruimer scored to the left of an out of position Emiliano Uchiha, making the score, 1-2. Emiliano Uchiha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 57th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Emiliano Uchiha made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when David Eikelkamp sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Club Atlético Libertador getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. In the 78th minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Uchiha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Emiliano Uchiha threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Wim Wilmes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Rigoberto Mambru kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Atlético Libertador getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Rigoberto Mambru hit a great ball. With a little luck, Club Atlético Libertador's Emiliano Uchiha got control of the ball when Wim Wilmes tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Atlético Libertador throughout the match.
