Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Roberto De Lima read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Keld Paulsen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcelo Dal Bello in the 16th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Guando floripa F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Mikkel Wulff came free, but Roberto De Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luix Larquera went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Guando floripa F.C's Roberto De Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Nygaard in the 38th minute of play. The score stood at 3-3 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Dal Bello to strike the kick off in the second half. Jakub Indyk kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Guando floripa F.C's Juan Olivar got a free kick in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot a high long ball. Guando floripa F.C's goalkeeper was lucky when the ball hit the right post and out. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guando floripa F.C's goalkeeper Roberto De Lima, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 64th minute of play forced Guando floripa F.C's goalkeeper Roberto De Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lars Steen to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Marcelo Dal Bello shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keld Paulsen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes Denmark's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Marco de Lara who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Guando floripa F.C's Marco de Lara to fire away a dangerous shot which Keld Paulsen despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 74th minute, Bertram Svenningsen fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. If Felipe Mesquita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Chris Nygaard came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Denmark fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chris Nygaard couldn't finish the play. Roberto De Lima didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Denmark's Chris Nygaard shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-4 in the ordered_time% minute. A collision led to Guando floripa F.C getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Marcelo Dal Bello hit a great ball. In the 95th minute, Bertram Svenningsen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Roberto De Lima. The goal made the score 3-5. When the match was over Denmark could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Guando floripa F.C throughout the match.
