Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Fred Ferreira started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hüseyin Turan Özerol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Corumbaense F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Ferreira in the 10th minute of play. In the 11th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Eduardo dos Santos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruy Mota in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Albin Holweck made a precise shot to the right of Luís Eduardo dos Santos. Corumbaense F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandrinho Maranhense in the 26th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. After having played for 30 minutes, Ruy Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruy Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ruy Mota received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tommy Kahn came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruy Mota slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 32nd minute. 36 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Ferreira. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Hüseyin Turan Özerol sent off a good shot on target. Albin Holweck kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Frank Sachs made the kick off in the second half. Fred Ferreira scored 2-1 in the 50th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fred Ferreira in the 53rd minute of play. Germany's Frank Sachs got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Germany's Albin Holweck got a free kick in the 60th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Wilian Capixaba during the 67th minute. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Corumbaense F.C.'s Fred Ferreira. But to his dismay, Fred Ferreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. In the 76th minute, Vânderson Camargo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corumbaense F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Luís Eduardo dos Santos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 83rd minute of play. Vânderson Camargo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wilian Capixaba took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Corumbaense F.C.'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
