Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Txema Cerbera started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Modernians getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Gerry Sollit hit a great ball. Kaur Kapten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 5th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sigfrido Auletta in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kaur Kapten saved Modernians from getting behind. 13 minutes into the game, Zaccheo Andolina cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kaur Kapten was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Txema Cerbera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Modernians's Kaur Kapten played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 26th minute of play. In the 29th minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kaur Kapten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play. Zaccheo Andolina recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th match minute, Modernians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Finn Maskell to maneuver through the defense. Kaur Kapten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Siricio Liotta in the 43rd minute of the match. Kaur Kapten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. The supporters of Italy booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Lunt didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Italy were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zaccheo Andolina stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Kaur Kapten showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After 65 minutes of play, Italy's Sigfrido Auletta made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kaur Kapten was left in no man's land by his defense there! The supporters of Italy booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliodor Rădulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sam Lunt in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute of the match Modernians got a corner. Italy's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Thomas Stenger ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Thomas Stenger got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Flavio Vittori quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Italy booed when Modernians was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shi Hong Xiao didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kaur Kapten made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 83rd minute. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Stenger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st minute Txema Cerbera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Modernians was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Stenger to maneuver through the defense. Italy made a substitution. Guiscardo Davide replaced Sigfrido Auletta. Thomas Stenger hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Curto in the 95th minute of play forced Modernians's goalkeeper Kaur Kapten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Italy eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
