The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jiří Hasman was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. Siricio Liotta hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Froilan Ciano stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Milan Vrbík in the 53rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Zena Busacca. In the 58th minute, Froilan Ciano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
