Raúl da Silveira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 23rd minute of play. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Murillo Pernambucano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Murillo Pernambucano struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FIEL ALGUSTA. Eduardo Cabral's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 42ndth minute of the game Murillo Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Frank Sachs to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Germany booed when FIEL ALGUSTA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Pirani didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rubens Rocha kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Raúl da Silveira made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Murillo Pernambucano in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murillo Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
