Gustavo Coelho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 8th minute of play. Frank Sachs scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gustavo Coelho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Ramón Valadares sent off a good shot on target. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Perivaldo Miranda could shoot a difficult shot in the 25th minute, which Tommy Kahn however easily saved by the left post. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 26th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Perivaldo Miranda, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gustavo Coelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson Jacaré in the 39th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emerson Jacaré in the 46th minute of play. The Xurupita FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Germany were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson Jacaré stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes of play, Germany's Albin Holweck made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gustavo Coelho was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Xurupita FC's Gilvan Ceresso got a free kick in the 65th minute. Xurupita FC's Valer Muscaș was substituted for Rubinho Maia. Gilvan Ceresso hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Albin Holweck took a quick shot and it went in 0-3 without a chance for Gustavo Coelho to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 71 minutes, Emerson Jacaré managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Xurupita FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emerson Jacaré was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 72nd minute, Frank Sachs reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gustavo Coelho. The goal made the score 0-4. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Pombal in the 78th minute of the match. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Xurupita FC made a substitution. Lilian Vântu replaced Ramón Valadares. Gustavo Coelho made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Frank Sachs sent off a good shot on target. If Albertinho de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gustavo Coelho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 87th minute. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Célio Maranhense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
