Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jacek Limanowski in the 4th minute of play. Renan Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 5th minute of the match. 14 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Renan Mendes. Matanza and Steelers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Antal Valentin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Katona Janos got a free kick in the 19th minute. Marvin Salamanca fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Takacs Tibor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Takacs Tibor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Renan Mendes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Matanza and Steelers's Renan Mendes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 34th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Major Barna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Renan Mendes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Lucas during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 47th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Katona Janos to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Renan Mendes acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 61st minute, took the ball on the long shot from Antal Valentin. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Renan Mendes made a huge save. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 69th minute. In the 72nd minute Hungary were awarded a corner. Antal Valentin went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Balazs Lajos got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Renan Mendes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 73 minutes Matanza and Steelers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Antal Valentin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led to Hungary's Katona Janos getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Matanza and Steelers getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Raí Gomes hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's goalkeeper Renan Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Major Barna. 81 minutes into the match, Hungary's Major Barna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 83 minutes into the match, Hungary's Balazs Lajos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Renan Mendes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes into the match, Matanza and Steelers's Leysus Oktavianus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
