In the 7th minute Brujas KV were awarded a corner. Harry Styles went to the cornerflag to take it. 9 minutes into the game, one of Netherlands:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 11th minute, Fulgencio Nikola left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brujas KV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 14thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Brujas KV's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thorvald Egfjord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brujas KV's Thorvald Egfjord got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Rios in the 27th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lars Meesters in the 29th minute of play. Lars Meesters kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Brujas KV's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Styles in the 34th minute. Adolfo Grau showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 35th minute of the match. In the 37th minute, Brujas KV's Fulgencio Nikola dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 43 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Thorvald Egfjord. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Brujas KV made a substitution. Esteban Eleazar replaced Oscar Costermans. 52 minutes into the match, Thorvald Egfjord had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorvald Egfjord was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thorvald Egfjord in the 66th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Brujas KV's Adolfo Grau got control of the ball when Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Rios scored 4-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Rios in the 71st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adolfo Grau came out and tried to block the shot, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 73rd minute. Esteban Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Pliszka in the 78th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 79th minute, which Adolfo Grau however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lars Meesters in the 80th minute of play forced Brujas KV's goalkeeper Adolfo Grau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands's Egbert Nijveldt quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Harry Styles, made in the 84th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zachary Pliszka in the 85th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that David Rios's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. 92 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when David Rios came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 94th minute, Zachary Pliszka left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Brujas KV fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Brujas KV fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
