Toader Vancea made in the 11th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Belgium's Nigel Devos. Belgium's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Apalasuka Moco 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. The supporters of Belgium booed when Hurboc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Toader Vancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Apalasuka Moco struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hurboc. Casper Claes was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Apalasuka Moco capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Apalasuka Moco really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. In the 31st minute, one of Belgium:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Belgium. 39 minutes into the match, Yves Dervaux notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Hurboc's Ignacio Quintun. Ignacio Quintun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Casper Claes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ermegildo Theobald in the 47th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yves Dervaux to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Apalasuka Moco came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ignacio Quintun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yves Dervaux in the 59th minute. A collision led to Hurboc getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Toader Vancea hit a great ball. In the 66th minute Ermegildo Theobald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hurboc made a substitution. Damian Enekoitz replaced 俞德星. In the 71st minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Edward Vanderstraeten went to the cornerflag to take it. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Apalasuka Moco in the 72nd minute of play. Ignacio Quintun made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Yves Dervaux sent off a good shot on target. Hurboc made a substitution. Piotr Przewozik replaced Ricardo Baumar. Casper Claes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Apalasuka Moco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute.
