PLUMIN's Albano Medardo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save PLUMIN from getting a goal against them. When Geraldo de Sena fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Clube Atlético Luziense's protests and gave Geraldo de Sena a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Geraldo de Sena. Cristian Urbano's late challenge caught a PLUMIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cristian Urbano helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Clube Atlético Luziense's Cristian Urbano got a free kick in the 9th minute. When Guillermo Quinteros came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the PLUMIN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Quinteros couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Luciano Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Albano Medardo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Albano Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geraldo de Sena in the 18th minute of play. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by PLUMIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavinho Luz was slow to take the kick. During this time Clube Atlético Luziense's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Clube Atlético Luziense's corner Flavinho Luz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Albano Medardo quite easily take care of the ball. In the 21st minute, Ermegildo Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geraldo de Sena recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Clube Atlético Luziense getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Gerson Furlan hit a great ball. 0-1 became the score in the 24th minute when Martin Enol elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Enzo Remir scored 0-2 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Fonseca, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jairo Fonseca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Martin Enol went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 34 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luciano Rodrigues. A hard shot 37 in the game by Luciano Rodrigues from a close distance when the talented Albano Medardo managed to make a qualified save. PLUMIN's players were relieved. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luciano Rodrigues during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 42 played minutes Clube Atlético Luziense got a freekick which was hit by Luciano Rodrigues. Martin Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martin Enol fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Fonseca having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Martin Enol was the one to do the kick off. PLUMIN's Albano Medardo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Rodrigues in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geraldo de Sena in the 56th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Clube Atlético Luziense's Geraldo de Sena in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PLUMIN's goalie prevented a goal. Jorge Cristofol's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Luziense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Albano Medardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luciano Rodrigues's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Cristian Urbano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Albano Medardo. PLUMIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cristian Urbano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 86 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Luziense's Luciano Rodrigues sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Albano Medardo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Gerardo Paio fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMIN's protests and gave Gerardo Paio a yellow card for diving instead. Gerardo Paio hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. If Luciano Rodrigues had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 93rd match minute, PLUMIN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Enol to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. PLUMIN walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
