In the 2nd minute, Adulfo Teresa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Cresconio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mino Cazorla, 1-0. With a little luck, Salud y República's Mino Cazorla got control of the ball when Bonifacio Cresconio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Donato Nalo was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 10 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Club Atlético Atlanta fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 9th minute. Penalty! 19 minutes into the game, Bonifacio Cresconio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Mino Cazorla was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bonifacio Cresconio took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mino Cazorla. Mino Cazorla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Neron Companys hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Mino Cazorla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bonifacio Cresconio in the 26th minute of the match. Melquiades Salvatore showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Alfaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Salud y República's goalkeeper Mino Cazorla, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Teobaldo Milian kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Artemio Jaunti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters rose to their feet, but Artemio Jaunti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mino Cazorla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Severino Huly fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atlético Atlanta's protests and gave Severino Huly a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Salud y República booed when Club Atlético Atlanta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Severino Huly didn't get a good kick on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

48 minutes into the match, Salud y República's Rodrigo Dominguez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bonifacio Cresconio made a kick off. Bonifacio Cresconio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Mino Cazorla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 61 minutes, Bonifacio Cresconio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Atlético Atlanta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bonifacio Cresconio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 64 minutes into the match, Bonifacio Cresconio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mino Cazorla. Salud y República's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bonifacio Cresconio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. In the 69th match minute, Club Atlético Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anselmo Sarracino to maneuver through the defense. In the 71st minute, Anselmo Sarracino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neron Companys received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Melquiades Salvatore tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Salud y República defense, Artemio Jaunti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mino Cazorla. The Salud y República fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mino Cazorla should have stopped the shot. After 91 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Bonifacio Cresconio. Thanks to some nice moves Adulfo Teresa could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Melquiades Salvatore however easily saved by the left post. When the referee ended the match the Club Atlético Atlanta players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
