Edvaldo Costa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezary Domarecki in the 6th minute of play. When Jefferson Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Jefferson Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jefferson Teixeira hit a great ball. When Bernard Drugi came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Hahay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernard Drugi couldn't finish the play. Hahay's Edgar Smuskiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário de Queirós in the 11th minute of play. Edvaldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Drugi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Hahay's Bernard Drugi in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 40 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Kamilo Glik. After 42 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Bernard Drugi. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Hahay made a substitution. Marcin Lepucki replaced Przemyslaw Figlewski. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernard Drugi to make the kick off. Gilson Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Thomas Ulleberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With an all-out effort, Hahay's Edvaldo Costa threw himself towards the right post 54 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Korneliusz Weyna, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Korneliusz Weyna fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hahay's protests and gave Korneliusz Weyna a yellow card for diving instead. After 56 played minutes Hahay got a freekick which was hit by Korneliusz Weyna. The supporters of Hahay booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Paulo Domingues didn't get a good kick on the ball.
