The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 3 minutes, Fritz Berghmans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEST FABIO F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fritz Berghmans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jiang Liang Wei's late challenge caught a PLUMIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jiang Liang Wei helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes BEST FABIO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Liang Wei. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Ermegildo Martxel hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in PLUMIN's zone, Fausto Velloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albano Medardo came out of the goal and Fausto Velloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Fritz Berghmans took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Albano Medardo to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fritz Berghmans got free with Albano Medardo in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Gerardo Paio managed to get in a good position for a shot. PLUMIN's supporters rose to their feet, but Gerardo Paio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Olivier Dubs breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 27th match minute when BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Fritz Berghmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albano Medardo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 30th minute. When Fritz Berghmans came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the BEST FABIO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fritz Berghmans couldn't finish the play. Fritz Berghmans came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Albano Medardo could save by the left post. BEST FABIO F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave PLUMIN the free kick. A collision led to BEST FABIO F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fritz Berghmans hit a great ball. The supporters of BEST FABIO F.C. booed when PLUMIN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Remir didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, PLUMIN's Ermegildo Martxel got a free kick in the 47th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Martin Enol made the kick off in the second half. Albano Medardo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fritz Berghmans's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. In the 54th minute, Jorge Simões hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Enol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans got a free kick in the 59th minute. The throw-in from Saul Primeiro in the 61st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by BEST FABIO F.C.'s Juninho de Sena. Albano Medardo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Fritz Berghmans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BEST FABIO F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Enzo Remir fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLUMIN's protests and gave Enzo Remir a yellow card for diving instead. After 66 played minutes PLUMIN got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Remir. If Fritz Berghmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Albano Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fritz Berghmans in the 68th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fritz Berghmans in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Medardo saved PLUMIN from getting behind. When BEST FABIO F.C.'s Fritz Berghmans in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PLUMIN's goalie prevented a goal. BEST FABIO F.C. made a substitution. Igor Gulak replaced Alexandre Xande. BEST FABIO F.C.'s Rodrigo Garro was substituted for Jiang Liang Wei. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Guillermo Quinteros with Martin Enol as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Fritz Berghmans scored 4-0 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Albano Medardo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fritz Berghmans in the 91st minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Anaking Skywalker managed to get in a good position for a shot. BEST FABIO F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Anaking Skywalker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Medardo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albano Medardo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fritz Berghmans went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score.
