A collision led to Zorros del Desierto getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Luchito Fuentes hit a great ball. Jovens Democratas MZC's Otávio Montenegro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 4th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Abelardo Escerza but with some difficulty. Sérgio Chaves could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Abelardo Escerza made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Hermenegildo Balboa got a free kick in the 9th minute. Abelardo Escerza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon de Amorim in the 10th minute of the match. With a little luck, Zorros del Desierto's Abelardo Escerza got control of the ball when Emanuel Branco tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Maicon de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Sérgio Chaves reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Abelardo Escerza. The goal made the score 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mannuel Cofquecura in the 24th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edvaldo Costa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mannuel Cofquecura went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Maicon de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Camilo Pino in the 39th minute of play forced Jovens Democratas MZC's goalkeeper Edvaldo Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Zorros del Desierto's Camilo Pino, in the 39th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Zorros del Desierto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon de Amorim in the 45th minute of play forced Zorros del Desierto's goalkeeper Abelardo Escerza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Saturnino Albrecht made a kick off. When Júlio Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jovens Democratas MZC's protests and gave Júlio Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Guerra. After a rather tough play, Zorros del Desierto's Luchito Fuentes got a free kick in the 60th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Allan Baiano replaced Júlio Guerra. Luchito Fuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 66th minute Valdemar Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abelardo Escerza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 minutes of play, Jovens Democratas MZC's Valdemar Guerra made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abelardo Escerza was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jovens Democratas MZC's César Coelho was substituted for Claudinei Salles. Maicon de Amorim scored 4-1 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abelardo Escerza, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abelardo Escerza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdemar Guerra in the 82nd minute of the match. 85 minutes into the game, Jovens Democratas MZC's Maicon de Amorim nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abelardo Escerza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. In the 87th minute, Zé Augusto Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abelardo Escerza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Valdemar Guerra went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the Jovens Democratas MZC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
