Los Tatangelos's Tamer Siraceddin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Diniz in the 20th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matías Veiga in the 21st minute of play forced Los Tatangelos's goalkeeper Tamer Siraceddin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yusuf Beykan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Dráuzio Borges when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Los Tatangelos's zone, Matías Veiga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tamer Siraceddin came out of the goal and Matías Veiga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the game, Teodoro Diniz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Tamer Siraceddin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Yusuf Beykan made the kick off in the second half. Víktor Vergílio charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Víktor Vergílio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dráuzio Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Durukan in the 74th minute of play. Evaristo Falcão hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. When the match was over Bandelocos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Tatangelos throughout the match.
