In the 10th minute, Sérgio Chaves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Albano Medardo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon de Amorim in the 13th minute of play forced PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute PLUMIN were awarded a corner. Gerardo Paio went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Saul Primeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to Jovens Democratas MZC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Sérgio Chaves hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute, Zé Augusto Tinoco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albano Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maicon de Amorim in the 24th minute of play. When Jovens Democratas MZC's Maicon de Amorim in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PLUMIN's goalie prevented a goal. Albano Medardo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sérgio Chaves in the 30th minute of play. Edvaldo Costa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Enol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Maicon de Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Albano Medardo was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After some careless play in the PLUMIN defense, Maicon de Amorim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Albano Medardo. The PLUMIN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Albano Medardo should have stopped the shot. In the 44th minute, Maicon de Amorim made a precise shot to the right of Albano Medardo. PLUMIN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. Emanuel Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albano Medardo having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Martin Enol made a kick off. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Gerardo Paio hit a great ball. Albano Medardo made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Maicon de Amorim sent off a good shot on target. Jovens Democratas MZC's Edvaldo Costa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enzo Remir in the 55th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, PLUMIN's goalkeeper Albano Medardo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Maicon de Amorim. Sérgio Chaves kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. César Coelho replaced Claudinei Salles. After a defensive mix-up in Jovens Democratas MZC's zone, Gerardo Paio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Costa came out of the goal and Gerardo Paio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Jovens Democratas MZC's Maicon de Amorim slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Albano Medardo. That made the score 0-7 after 83 minutes of play. Martin Enol's late challenge caught a Jovens Democratas MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Enol helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to PLUMIN getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Martin Enol hit a great ball. With a little luck, PLUMIN's Albano Medardo got control of the ball when Maicon de Amorim tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90thth minute of the game Maicon de Amorim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLUMIN's Albano Medardo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Emanuel Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdemar Guerra took the ball and in the 94 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Albano Medardo. Albano Medardo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Jovens Democratas MZC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
